Caption:
In 2020, the LHC Physics Center hosted the yearly CMS Data Analysis School (CMS DAS) at Fermilab. Around 100 students got hands-on experience using data analysis tools and worked with real data from the CMS detector at CERN. The experiment produces petabytes of information, and CMS scientists are developing tools and applying modern machine learning techniques to reconstruct and process data.
